Life In The Projects

Everyday I'm Hustlin'

In The Spotlight

This is the stuff that keeps me busy all day.

  • Small crop of the Emerica Skate site

Emerica Skate (2008) All programming and stylesheet design

Another pioneering site in the skateboarding industry, the new Emerica site kicks competitors asses with oodles of usability and tons of content. Next to all the usual product and news, there's a complete social network incorporated and a teaser section for Emerica's upcoming Stay Gold video.

The site runs on Plant, is completely valid XHTML & CSS, uses access keys and a healthy dose of the excellent jQuery. I developed a new Javascript technique to produce the sliding windows in the team section.

    What's dope:
    • The Emerica Team: Build your own Emerica team page and interact with the pros!
    • Mark your favorite shoes and gear and display them in your team page
    • The EMB: Emerica Message Boards
    • Check out clips for the new Emerica video in the Stay Gold section.
  • Small crop of the Plant logo

    Plant (2007)

No, it's not a Rails ripoff. Okay, maybe. I don't know. I love PHP. So I made a nice framework for it. Just nice? Nah, shit kicks ass.

I'm not gonna try to convince you. Just go to the Plant project page.
